We love eggs. But should you eat whole eggs or just the whites? Even though the yolk is high in cholesterol, it is extremely rich in other nutrients, especially vitamins and minerals. Also, the amount of cholesterol in a food does not affect the cholesterol in our bodies. If you’re going to eat 2 or 3 eggs in a day, eat the yolks. If you are going to eat significantly more than that in one day, use whites after the second or third egg. Looking for a quick and healthy dinner on rushed nights? Breakfast for dinner is the perfect solution.

What I heard before was, you shouldn’t eat more than one egg in a day. I love eggs, but try not eat too much.. Is it ok to eat 2 or 3 eggs in a day?
Hi Maki, Nutrition is an individualized science, and almost every nutrition answer should be: “It depends!” How many eggs you should eat in a day depends on your overall calorie and nutrient intake, your activity level and your medical history. Without knowing all of that for you, I would say, in general, it is indeed okay to eat 2 or 3 eggs in a day. I know that’s not super helpful, but it’s the truth.
