Here’s what you need and how to make this insanely simple, incredibly delicious pasta:

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup fresh basil
  • 1/3 Cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/3 Cup Parmesan
  • 3 Tablespoons pine nuts, walnuts or hemp seeds
  • 1/4 Cup pine nuts
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 lb pasta
  • 2 Cups cherry tomatoes

Directions

1) Cook pasta al dente.

2) Toast 1/4 Cup pine nuts over medium heat in a dry skillet for 3-5 minutes or until fragrant and slightly toasted.

3) Combine basil, extra virgin olive oil, Parmesan, 3 T pine nuts, garlic, salt and pepper in a food processor or blender.

4) Cut tomatoes in half.

5) Combine everything in a glass bowl and coat to toss.

6) EAT!
