Shauna Del Prete

Registered Dietitian

  • Registered Dietitian since 2010
  • Certified LEAP therapist since 2019
  • Specializes in digestive disorders, disordered eating and intuitive eating
  • Always searching for ways to play-snowboarding, racquetball, biking, bring it on!

After pursuing degrees in psychology and criminology Shauna decided to pursue her passion in dietetics and the field of nutrition. This was fueled by a desire to lead a balanced life after suffering from several autoimmune conditions. Shauna realized that nutrition and lifestyle played a vital role in how she felt and her experiences and 9 years of training have proven her ability to help others heal with food and TLC.

Shauna has worked in a variety of settings from retail to bariatrics and private practice. As a retail dietitian for ShopRite she gained a vast knowledge of products in the marketplace and an appreciation for the diverse and hectic lives her clients live. In Bariatrics and private practice she has learned that leading with wellness instead of weight can be helpful for many looking to make lifelong changes. Shauna knows how to effectively use sessions to meet you where you are to so you can find your motivation and remove the roadblocks. She believes that starting from a place of positivity and compassion are key to making changes that feel sustainable.

Shauna became a Certified LEAP Therapist in 2019 in order to better help clients who suffer from migraines, fibromyalgia and IBS. She is versed in elimination diets to help those who often suffer with chronic conditions and have not been able to find relief elsewhere. She has also completed Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

Whether it be webinars, articles or formal trainings, Shauna stays current with all things nutrition. She leads an active lifestyle and is always looking for adventure. Her personal hobbies include snowboarding, racquetball, reading and cooking. Shauna is most happy spending time with her family.
