Madeleine’s journey into nutrition started when she studied abroad in Florence, Italy. Her time on the Mediterranean Sea opened her eyes that health has just as much to do with lifestyle habits and a person’s relationship with food as it does with their application of nutrition basics. The most gratifying part of her continued travels is being able to take the best health aspects from each culture and bring them home to share with her clients. Mindfulness, quality of ingredients, food preparation and a genuine connection with food are all things Madeleine has learned first hand around the world.

As a Registered Dietitian, Madeleine is a credentialed nutrition expert with thousands of hours of experience in a variety of settings including hospitals, outpatient services, schools, corporate wellness and medical facilities. Madeleine’s experience as a Corporate Performance Dietitian working at a Fortune 500 Silicon Valley tech giant taught her to find practical solutions for busy people. She learned precisely how to coach high-stress employees, and she also learned a lot about eastern cultures, working mothers, fitness fanatics, and recreational endurance athletes.

Madeleine believes strategies that are too rigid, extreme or demanding are short-lived and ultimately ineffective because they are not sustainable. She takes your whole life into consideration, so her suggestions practically fit into your lifestyle and have lasting results. Madeleine looks for small and easy changes clients can make that will have the biggest impact in improving their health and build momentum early on. Much of the joy Madeleine’s job brings is rooted in conversing with clients and navigating the ins-and-outs of their life to tease out customized nutrition solutions that are going to work.

Madeleine plans to continue traveling, stay current with science-based nutrition and further dive into understanding human behavior so she can better serve her clients on their health journeys.
