Matt and Carla are a wonderful married couple who came to RESULTS to establish consistency in their eating habits and to learn to meal plan in a way that encourages their goal of long-term health. Although they were proficient in nutrition when they started with RESULTS, Matt and Carla have transformed their kitchen and made significant changes in their lifestyle to positively affect their health for years to come.

On hectic days, their go-to recipes are now either broccoli soup made in a batch big enough to freeze or a salad with grilled chicken and vegetables from their garden. It doesn’t get much better than that!

They mentioned that by having healthier snacks in the house ready to go, it makes their busy life just a bit easier. Carla especially loves having Greek yogurt in the house at all times because it’s easy to add fruit, nuts and honey for a snack.

Matt and Carla think that the best candidate to work with a nutritionist is someone who wants to learn about healthier options. Carla said, “It is not only about wanting to lose weight; it is important to learn how eating to improve your overall health. You can learn what foods improve your digestive system, energy level and other medical issues such as high cholesterol. One big lesson to learn was how to read labels.”
