Ask any of her friends or family members, and they will tell you that Laura has a genuine passion for food. She absolutely loves to eat. Whether it’s a gourmet burger and a craft beer or a raw kale and avocado salad, few people appreciate a great meal more than Laura. Laura founded RESULTS. with the intention of sharing her love for food to help people enhance their quality of life.

Growing up in Northern California, Laura was a multi-sport athlete. At age 5, she was told that donuts make you swim slowly and fruit makes you swim fast. From then on, healthy eating came naturally to her. Laura also had parents who were constantly entertaining. She quickly learned to appreciate how fresh, delicious meals have a unique way of bringing people together, which further piqued her interest in nutrition.

At the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, she combined her enthusiasm for food and fitness to earn a degree in Nutrition while being named the Outstanding Undergraduate Award from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. After college, she became a Registered Dietitian in order to make her passions her career. During her nutrition internship, she earned an American Dietetic Association Foundation Scholarship for her work in a groundbreaking project to improve nutrition education in schools. When living in Texas, Laura was voted Best Dietitian in Austin for two consecutive years.

Prior to starting RESULTS., Laura held positions in a variety of great companies that helped shape her broad perspective on food. The most fun was the 3 years she spent teaching soon-to-be chefs how to make healthy food taste great at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Academy. The most fulfilling was the nutrition program she started from scratch and still oversees at Pure Austin Fitness, a gym in Austin that was voted “Best Gym in the Nation” by both The Huffington Post and Self Magazine in 2015.

Outside of running her business, Laura gets excited about traveling, being outside and throwing parties. She is constantly pursuing new fitness endeavors, the latest being cycling, obstacle course racing and surfing. She rarely cooks the same recipe twice and loves to hang out with her husband and kids in the San Francisco Bay Area. Laura is a passionate speaker, a published writer and has helped thousands of people enhance their quality of life through their food choices.
